Error Installing Reporting Extensions RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I attempt to install the CRM Reporting Extensions on the SQL SSRS Server the setup will not run past the first step of Checking for Update. I get the error “Setup cannot proceed because C:\....SrsDataConnectorSetup.dll
cannot be found or is incorrect”. Has anyone else gotten this error?

  • I was able to get it working. I didn't realize it but it was already installed. I uninstalled and then reinstalled it successfully.

  • You might try clearing the temporary files and copying the installation files to the disk before running the installer.

  • Thanks for the suggestion Jason. That didn't make any difference. BTW, The DLL does not exist when it gets the error.

  • I got around this error by choosing a different directory.  I created a temp directory and it worked.
