ICE changes the colors RRS feed

  • Question

  • I wanted to use ICE to merge micrographs taken from one sample. They are saved as TIFs.

Basically it works fast and does a great job. But it ruins the color. The upper half of the merged picture turns purple and this downwards gradually changes into green.

Any ideas what can be done about that?

"There isn't a way to turn off the compensation, currently. One thing I can suggest is to output the result as a PSD file (with layers). Then you can import into Photoshop or GIMP and save a composite from the un-compensated "layers"."

I just tried it on an IC die shot, and it works great.
