Message from Windows Live One Care Missing updates RRS feed

  • I purchased my lap top in April of this year, I keep getting a message from Windows Live One Care stating there are missing updates and to install them, is this something I should do and if I do will I be charged for them and is it safe to do

  • I moved your post to the Tune-up forum as this is the part of OneCare that is advising you about the missing updates.
    Go to Windows Update (in Vista, type Windows Update in the search box by the Start orb...) and download and install all missing critical and important updates. You do not need to install optional updates. Yes, you need to do this for OneCare to go back to green and to insure that your PC is secure.
