ONE CARE ACTIVATION

Question
-
I have been trying FOR 2 MONTHS, to activate the Live One Care subscription I purchased at Officemax. I have uninstalled the old, reinstalled form OneCare.com, and STILL I cannot find a way to activate my computer license. This is the MOST FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE I have had with MS software, along with the new version of MS Office 2007. This thing keeps getting me to re-install the one care package and not once, has given me the option to enter my key. So much for added security, if the system is not workable itself. I have lost my confidence in MS software. I will galdly go MAC this Christmas and give it a try.
Still, I would appreciate any help I can get to suscribe this thing, before moving forward to new technology.
regards,
Kepoman,

If One Care is not installed, install from here - http://onecare.live.com/standard/en-us/default.htm then see this article for activatin instructions - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935899/en-us
If you are still unable to activate please post back the details of the activatin failure. You can also contact support to get help with product activation - http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2

I just deleted your second post to this thread. (update - and the 3rd post you made to start a new thread. I also suspect that the last post I responded to may also have been from you under a different LiveID/nickname)
Open OneCare. Click on Help/About....
The subscription ID shown there is the LiveID that was used to activate your subscription and the one that you must sign in with if you wish to renew your subscription.
Alternatively, uninstall OneCare and reinstall from http://onecare.live.com and login with a new LiveID, providing payment information or selecting the option to use a retail PIN/Key if you choose to purchase a retail boxed copy of OneCare.
If the subscription ID *is* your LiveID, but you do not know the password and wish to reset it, you can do so at http://account.live.com, assuming you have set up the "secret questions" and can answer them or have provided an alternate email address for the reset mail to be sent to. You can also contact support per the following:
