Trying to figure out how I can restore a 500GB drive image to a 250GB drive where I'm not even using 25% of the 500GB.
Is there a way to restore to a smaller hdd instead of having to restore to an equal or bigger?
thanx

No. Because of the way backups are stored in the home computer backup database, you can only restore a drive image to a partition that is at least as large as the one that was originally backed up.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
