Can anyone tell me how can i make an image of my original xp cd so that i can use it to reinstall XP anytime in case i lose my original cd ? And if i use that new cd to install XP on the same computer, will it be considered genuine ? Plzz answer.
And to answer your 2nd question, yes, if your original software and product key are Genuine, then making a image of the original CD and installing it (using the Genuine Product Key) then the resulting XP install will be Genuine.
In other words, if the original software and key are Genuine, them making a copy of the software would not change the Genuine status.
