Notebooks and two WHS locations ?? RRS feed

    Just a quick question. I have two locations (house and cottage) and each has a WHS installed. Sould I expect problems moving a notebook between the two locations? Any hints or gotchas??

    The only "gotcha" is that your client can only be "joined" to one WHS at a time.  In other words, if your client is joined to server A, but you are at server B's location and have not joined that client to server B, it will not be backed up at that location, it will not be available for Remote Access, etc.  (Note you can still access the shares though, provided the user name and password match.)  If you want to join your client to the server at the location you're at, just run C:\Program Files\Windows Home Server\discovery.exe and type in that server's password.
