Oracle OUT parameters get truncated RRS feed

  • Question

  • .Net Framework 4.5

    Oracle 12cR2 (server and client)

    ADO.Net Oracle provider (using System.Data.OracleClient)

Our .Net web application supports both sql server and Oracle databases. Everything was working fine until Oracle 11g. We are working to certify our application with Oracle 12Cr2. But the oracle SPs returned OUT parameter's values are truncated.

the OUT param is of type nvarchar(max).

How can i handle this in ADO.Net (we do not want to migrate to ODP.Net at the moment in the interest of time).

    Any help here is appreciated!
