  • I'm probably the only sap that purchased Expression Studio 2 in March 2009.   I contacted Microsoft licencing and software but they said I need to chalk up another 349.00 for Expression Studio 3.... since my purchase was more than 45 days.   There was nothing pressing for me to make this purchase in March 2009, I just wanted to become more familiar with the tool set.... but not at 80.00 a month.  This purchase could have been easily been pushed back  --- had I known about Expression 3.  Looks like Studio 2 bombs (at least Blend) with Silverlight 3 installed, making Studio 2 completedly useless.  The decision by Microsoft seems very unfair and self serving.  I don't have much time to invest in this, I am just a lone developer with a MSDN Professional subscription.  Any suggestions that could lead to a more equitable solution?
