Cannot Connect

Question
-
We tried to connect from one Vista client to another today using the Live Messenger session option. But when the user who wanted to share their computer tried to send an invitation via Messenger, I received a notice in Messenger saying that SharedView was disabled or not installed on my computer so I could not connect. But SharedView is installed on my computer and I actually had it open and was signed in . . . and we were both using the same version of SharedView.
I'm stumped.

For future reference, SharedView 1.0 has removed support for Live Messenger invites, due to removal of this functionality from Messenger. It's been replaced in SharedView with an easy to use web-based join feature.
thanks

Hello Brandon,
Could you try joining the session using the email address for the session (when both SharedView clients are signed in)? Thanks.

Brandon,
can you please check the version number of your Windows Live Messenger? You can find it by selecting Help -> About Messenger.
thanks

Can you try signing in and starting a session, then having the 2nd user sign in and try to join your session, or vice versa? (this is bypassing live messenger from your steps)
