One Care Firewall and Anti-Virus RRS feed

  • It is time for me to re-new my One Care Subscription. For the entire year I have had One Care I have received notices that my Firewall is turned off and the Anti Virus is not functioning. I have spent hours trying al of the fixes suggested and non of them work.
    I understand that One Care has built in Firewall and Antivirus that is not compatible with the Firewall that came with XP?

    If One Care created this problem, why is there not an automatic fix?

    Unless this problem can not be resolved, I will not pay 49.95 x 2  to continue this headache!

    Suggest who I can talk to to fix the problem, or I am a past subscriber with 6 computers covered.

    Is this problem happening on one of your 6 computers or all of them? Something is certainly amiss if it is all of them. If it is only one, I have to assume that there is a conflict with something on that PC or that there are problems with services on that PC.

     

    Is the problem that the Windows Security Center reports that the firewall and virus protection is off, yet OneCare is in green status? If so, the problem is not OneCare, but Windows Security Center. OneCare disables the XP Firewall as it has its own that replaces it.
