EFS old HDD locked fikles

  Hi 

  I rebuilt a new PC and transfered my SSD which had my OS from my old system and put it in my new PC.  I had another HDD which held all my data and it was encrypted.  However, I dycrypted it ,well at least I thought I had and then put it in my new PC.  I went to  access my data on my new PC and to my horror I discovered that the top level folders were unlocked but all the files within the folders had a lock against them.  I have tried everything to unlock them but they will not.  I am desperate because all my family photos and  personal files are locked.  Can you please please help.
