    With the microsoft.public.platformsdk.mapi and microsoft.public.platformsdk.messaging forums shut down, there is a need for a forum that  MAPI programming issues. The redirect from the old Communities web page points to the Windows Native Development forums, but I couldn't figure out from the list which forum might actually have a few resident MAPI experts. I also asked about this in the Where Is the Forum For ...? without getting any useful suggestion other than to post a request here.

    Looks like Outlook for Developers will be the best forum for MAPI topics. One of Microsoft's in-house MAPI experts says he'll keep an eye out for MAPI questions there.

    The full extended MAPI ships with Office Outlook and Exchange. Maybe you can find MAPI exerts in the development forums for Outlook and Exchange?

    Anyway it does look weird to ask MAPI questions that are not related to Outlook and Exchange to these forums. Maybe a separate forum is better.
