  • May I ask why use of vb.net webform Will <asp: Button is onkeypress But asp: ButtonField no onkeypress events Ask you greatly like asp: Button onkeypress events asp: ButtonField Why?

  • ButtonField is a key field that does not support user input, so there is no onkeypress.

  • Another suggestion:
    Converting a ButtonField to Templete becomes a "traditional Button" or "LinkButton control". This is also easier for the control to handle the Client's OnKeyPress. In addition OnKeyPress Client-side events, to deal with the client-side PostBack related processing.
