My XP will not boot from the HDD RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was doing a backup with Norton Ghost which did not happen, the restart stopped when it should have gone to the HDD. I was able to restart with a floppy disk emergency boot disk. Here is the diagnosis for someone to look at. Please let me know. Thanks

  • Hello

      Hi ,

These forums are for the support of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation issues. You post does not appear Activation ot Validation related and, as such, is off-topic (as well as outside my area of knowledge).

I suggest reposting your question to one of the Vista Newsgroups at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=42486 or go to http://support.microsoft.com for additional support options.

On a side note: Both your copy of XP as well as your copy of Office were installed using a Blocked and/or Leaked Volume License Key (VLK). Please immediately uninstall and or reinstall both Office and XP using a Genuine Product key.

Note: Microsoft Support, will not provide free support to non-genuine copies of Windows or Office.

    Thank you,
    Darin Smith
