And I donot want other to know my window ID passwords ( live , MSN, hotmail, passport ID) for obvious reasons. Do I need to change to a new window ID or use the same one for the sole purpose of installation/subscription on other computors ? WIll there be no issues if I installl it on other computor?

You must use the Live ID and password associated with your subscription to activate One Care on the other computers and changing the Live ID is not a practical option. If you install and activate One Care on the other computers your password should be safe because there is no way to access it through One Care.

I am facing a similar situation. Other users may not be able to access it through OneCare, but they *can* access your information without needing to know your password for other Microsoft Live-ID ready services. I find myself frequently in a rather annoying loop in an attempt to retain my privacy. OneCare gives me a warning that I must reconnect with my circle to observe the status of the other computers, so I click [ok], then OneCare window opens up with a button that indicates [renew] (this apparently is *not* a renew my subsciption button, but in fact a renew my credentials / connection button). If I don't click the [renew], the annoying "reminders" keep letting me know that I can't communicate with my cirlcle to find out the status of the other computers. SO, I click renew, type in my Live ID and password to appease the prompt, then exit. I can then *immediately* go to www.hotmail.com, and low and behold, my Live ID and password have been "conveniently" stored for me (or anybody else that sits at the computer) to be able to check my email with a single mouse-click. I chose the option [Forget Me], to preserve my privacy, and the cycle repeats.
There *needs* to be a way for OneCare to retain this information (if it is so imperative to communicate with the circle) *without* noting it with the same method that opens this privacy issue, when visiting any Live-ID ready website, with other users of the same machine.
It also holds true regardless of having other users profiles, etc... Perhaps not in the same way that the information will be available for them to single-click log-in when the visit a Microsoft Live-ID ready site, but the absence of me storing my info (which I prefer to *never* do), results in them getting a nag "reminder" under their profile until my info is submitted to OneCare, under my profile or otherwise.
I would hope that such bevahior would be considered a privacy matter at it's very core, which isn't that was we *bought* OneCare Live to protect, our privacy and security? Security software should let end-users operate as they do tand do it's part to optimize security & privacy, and I have never stored my username and password for anything, never utilized autocomplete, nor any other "please store my info" options in *any* program. I should not have to start because a "security" progam requires it in a way that compromises my privacy.
Please, please, please, consider this an important matter, because it's *very* frustrating, and I've watched several variations of the same problem posted a number of times "OneCare keeps asking me to reconnect with my circle", "OneCare keeps asking me for my Live ID and password", etc...Sunday, June 28, 2009 9:33 AM -
There are a couple of possible workarounds which may help. If you have the Windows Live Sign In Assistant uninstall it. This may prevent signing in everywhere when you sign in to One Care. Another possible solution is to protect your user account with a strong password and create a limited user account for other users of your computer.
