  • I've built a new PC about a month go and used my Windows 7 install disc I bought for my old computer.  Its been fine for that month but recently it's been saying my windows is not genuine.

  • Your OEM SLP Windows 7 Home Premium license from your old PC cannot be transferred nor activated on a different PC. If that PC died, then so did the Windows OEM SLP license.  You will need to purchase a new edition of Windows 7 for your new PC. In my opinion, Windows 10 would be the best choice for a new PC.
