Cannot enter activation code to update free trial to subscription RRS feed

  • I am trying to update my trial install (that expires in 4 days) to a subscription, and even un-installed the trial to hopefully create a clean new install.  The activation code is not being accepted with a message that it is already in use and directing me to follow the instruction to add a secong computer to the original install.

    Is it necessary to create a new live id as it seems maybe my original id is causing this issue ?  Or what ?

  • Hello Pyzon, it sounds like you have already entered the product key. Use the original Live ID and password to activate One Care because the product key is now linked to that Live ID. It may take a day or so for your subscription status to update in One Care.
