Validated Word 2007 still won't download templates RRS feed

  • HI,

     

    I have already validated my Office 2007 copy and it validated just fine. But everytime I try to download a template it displays a message that indicates that my copy is not genuine. And when I click "Get Genuine" the office validation is successful. Now, I'm pretty quite sure that my copy is genuine since I'm using an MSDN copy. Hope someone can help cause this really is delaying me @ my work...

    In order to recieve the best support, we request all users initially run the Genuine Diagnostics tool to try and identify the issue you may be having.

    Download and run the utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a response message in this thread.

    As you can see, it has passed the Genuine test. But still I can't download a new template for Word.

    Thanks for posting your diagnostic output it is very helpful.  Yes, it is safe to post the output here as the data contained in it is of no use to anyone else (it will not work for installing a product or anything like that). 

     

    I was hoping that the output would quickly tell me what is the cause of your issue, but unfortunately it is not.  What I would suggest is that you open a support incident with Microsoft Product Support (WGA/OGA Support is free of charge).  http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52029

     

    Once you do this, your will receive a service request number (it will start with SR and a long series of numbers after it).  If you could post your SR # back here on the forum, I can make sure that PSS follows up as appropriate.  I think there may be an issue with your 25-character product key (but please DO NOT post it here).  We can collect this from you through the secure channel of PSS.
