Two Vista Ultimate Computers with Endpoint VPN connection

  I have a VPN connection between two cisco 4400N VPN routers to connect between a home and business network.  The computers are running Vista Ultimate.  I cannot ping between the two computers even if I pull all firewalls off--Windows and 3rd Party antivirus program.  The two computers are wirelessly connected through cisco 4400N VPN routers, respectively.  Cisco says it is a Windows issue.  The VPN worked, for one day, then crashed. We set all the permissions so they could access a QuickBooks POS 9.0 database.  Not sure where to proceed.
