Hello Everyone,
I am helping my G/F reinstall Vista home basic on on her pc, and we have done everything correctly but it is telling us the product key on the pc is invalid we folloed your instructions and we have copied the validation program, can anyone help?

I can see no reason for the machine to be saying that it's not valid - except for the fact that you haven't activated it yet.To activate it, go to the System Properties page, and look at the bottom - there should be an Activate Now button.You'll need to use Telephone Activation, because you entered the COA Key during the install.If you can't find the button -Click on the Start buttonIn the Search box, typeSLUI 4and hit the Enter keyfollow the instructions on the window that should pop up.
