LEGAL way to establish 5 VMs (Server 2008 or 2012) for training (as suggested in MS Press book Administering SQL Server 2012 databases)? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Regarding 70-462, and the MS Press book "Administering SQL Server 2012 Databases" from Microsoft Press, the book suggests we create up to 5 virtual machines each with SQL 2012 on it (for the purposes of the exercises and lessons).

Is there a training-use form of licensing, to to legally set up the 5 virtual machines as suggested in the book, just for training purposes?  (As in, without purchasing the licenses? )

    Thanks in advance.
