All the tests that I have applied tell me that the Product key is Genuine and has never been activated.
However, since the Diagnostic Report only shows me the last 15 digits of the 25 digit key, I can only be about 98-99% sure. The true test will be when you attempt to Activate. The Activation process sends the entire Product Key (encrypted) and some other bits of information about the Vista install (no personal information is sent) to our Activation servers. It all gets tested and Vista Activates, you know it's genuine.
