  • What do you mean by merge the organisations ? You'll need to decide what to do with both the customisations and the data.

For customisations, you can export the customisations from one organisation into the other. If you do this, any shared UI components (forms and view definitions) from the exported customisation will override those in the organisation that you import to, so this will probably affect which organisation you export from

You'll have to use data migration tools (e.g. data import, SSIS, Scribe) to merge any data

  • Thanks for replying David. Why I want to do is due to some reasons I created two organizations. In both almost similar customizations and data also.I want to merge these two because of this. In both organizations lot of data is  there. Importing lot of data means it is some what hectic job.

Is there any help for this. Thanks in advance.

  • Sudhakar,

There is no concept of Merging two organizations in CRM as David said.

If you have same customization in both the organizations, neglect the customization and use migration tool to Migrate the data to a organization.

if it is a CRM 2011, use data import wizard to import the data.

Or you can use sdk code to do migration.
