Site Verification Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am constantly getting error in site verification, no metter if I try with XML file or meta tags!

    What am I doing wrong?

    My web is: www.riasc.net, and you can check that xml file is actualy in the root directory of my site.

    Already tried to delete and add it again (with new code, of course).
    My web site is on fast server in Sweden, so answers like slow server is out of question...

    Any other answer is appriciated.

    Thanks

    Have you tried using the Meta tag option? Aside from that, I know we are still having intermittent issues validating foreign hosted sites.

  • Ok

    Now what???

    I told: "I done that so many times!".

    Can you access that xml file?

    Its here: http://www.riasc.net/LiveSearchSiteAuth.xml

    Can anybody confirm it is not?

  • I could access it, and this is what I got:

      <?xml version="1.0" ?>
    - <users>

      </users>

  • Dejan,

    where is your site hosted? If your site does not respond within 10 seconds, this verification error will occur. We are working to fix this (add a longer delay), but that is the likely problem.
