  • Please check out this KB and install the update: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3bEN-US%3b931573

    If it doesn't apply, it'll tell you when you try to install it.  That's my first hunch about your issue.  Please let me know if that works.

  • My home premium told me that my copy of Vista is not genuine, and the Activate client ( or so, I don't remember) cannot start. It log off and hang with the log off screen. I cannot run the KB file from MS.

    I don't know what happen. The update make the system worse!!!!!
