windows 7 reInstallation - validation fail

  I downloaded windows 7 throught Academic alliance, I activated it, and it worked fine.  Then my computers hard-disc was damaged, and I had to replace it. I reinstalled windows 7, and activated it with the same product key - now it tells me my copy of windows is not genuine.

  Unfortunetly, my schools' program administrator does not know anything about computing in general, and MSDN AA in particular, so asking for he's help is irellevant - unless I can explain him exactly what I want him to do.

  So what I ask, is could you pleas explain in more ditail what to do in this circumstances?

  Please check that the Cryptographic Services are running

  Click on Start
  in the Search box, type
  SERVICES.MSC
  and hit the Enter key - accept the UAC prompt if you get one.
  Look in the console for the Cryptographic Service, right-click on it and select Properties. Is it running?

  If not, make sure that the Startup is set to Automatic,and click Apply.
  
  Try starting the service now - do you get an error message? Does it start? does it almost immediately stop again?
  

  please open an Admin Command Prompt (Start > All Programs > Accessories> right-click on Command Prompt, and select Run as Admin) and enter the following commands

  SC QC CRYPTSVC

  SC SDSHOW CRYPTSVC

  copy and paste the results back here.(to copy the results... click on the Black/White icon in the top left, and select Edit... 'Select All', and hit the Enter key - then use Ctrl+V or r-click+Paste to paste it into your response.)

  the cryptografic service works fine, it allready worked when I looked, but I stoped it and restart it just to check - it started imdiately whith no problem.

  In that case it must be the Intel Rapid Storage Technology drivers.

  The set of file mismatches above are typical of one of three causes:-

  1) a restore from an image backup of the system

  2) a failed driver update

  3) a disabled Cryptographic service

   

  The main one for which we currently have a solution is the second.....

  Installing the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers

  try downloading and installing them from here -

  http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2101&DwnldID=20215&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss

  Once complete, please reboot twice, then post another MGADiag report.
