  • I'm having lots of problems with Microsoft Mail.  It all started when I bought a new computer with Vista.  I downloaded all my  XP programs and files via the Windows Easy Transfer Companion using the Belkin cable. Problem #!)  My contacts names did not load into the contact folder. Instead they loaded into the Windows Address Book.  I've tried everything I can think of to import my contacts into the contact folder but to no avail.  Problem #2) I've been  using a Comcast High Speed Cable without a problem with XP. Now, when I try to send out mail, I get a "dial up" box asking for a user name and password, and from there a box saying my Cable Connection isn't working. I called up the IP, and they gave me the settings, but it still doesn't work.   However, I can connect with  the Internet. I pick up my mail at my carrier's website.  If anyone can help, it would be appreciated.  Why did I ever leave XP for new pretty face?
