Hi, neonash.
You will have to make a choice about which Microsoft web developer certification you wish to pursue.
The older MCPD: Web Developer 4 certification is based on .NET 4.0 and Visual Studio 2010. It covers using ASP.NET Forms, WCF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and an introduction to ASP.NET MVC 2. These exams are retiring this summer
(July 31, 2014). Learn more here:

Alternately, you can pursue the newer MCSD: Web Applications certification title that is based on .NET 4.5 and Visual Studio 2012. It covers ASP.NET MVC 4, Entity Framework, WCF, Azure, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Learn more here:

You can learn about which exams are retiring and when exactly they are retiring here:

The older MCPD certification title will not appear retired on your transcript after July. Instead, it will eventually (years from now) be marked as
Legacy on your certification transcript.
The newer MCSD certification title requires you to recertify every two (2) years. It will initially be marked as
Active on your certification transcript. If you do not recertify after the two (2) year deadline, it will be marked as
Inactive.

Good luck!
