CRM 2013: How to track which exact plugin and workflows run after create or update operations? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    I am dealing with a fully customized xRM application and many plugins and workflows are running upon create or update operations.  Things are getting out of control here.

    Is there any technique that help me track which exact plugin and workflows run after create or update operations?

    Thank you,

  • Hook up a debugger to it?

  • 1. For Plugin you can connect via Plugin registration tool in the CRM SDK and check the dlls

    2. For Workflows you  can check by opening the entity record let say Case

    Open the case record and follow below figure

  • Hi,

    You can actually use the Plugin registration for this. Through "View", you can filter Plugins by message (by default its filtered by Assembly, can also be filtered by Entity);

    For workflows you can access Settings - Solutions - Processes and check which filters are applied for the workflows.
