    How you doing? I can not get my status bar to go green. Says I am at risk due to macafee. I got a dell and it came already programed with macafee. I no longer pay macafee for there services, I disabled all there options, firewall, spam, etc. I still get the small macafee emblem at the bottom right of my screen, even though it is not activated. one care says that it is interfereing with there programs. I tried everything I know to do. Any help would grateful.  Thanks.

    Thanks Steve Boots, I used the major Geek site you listed and ran the program and everythig went back to green. Also removed all of Mcafee. If you get a chance to respond, is everything on this Major Geek site safe? Always looking for safe solutions to computer issues. Thanks again,  Jeffrey  Todd

    Major Geeks is one of several hosting sites out there. They claim to have safe files, but I would scan them first. I link to that download for the McAfee removal tool as it is easier to find than the one on McAfee's support site.
