Web video conferencing RRS feed

  • Question

  • hey guys,

Just trolling through the docs now but in the meantime...
What are the requirements for setting up LCS to host Web Video conferencing for external clients??
eg: We have LCS 2007 setup and we want our external customers to be able to join us on Video conference calls, what services do we need setup and what would they need in order to join us?

  • For OCS 2007 you'll need to deploy a consolidated Edge Server with all three roles (Access Edge, Web Conferencing Edge, and A/V Edge) in addition to the internal Front-End server. Make sure that external DNS SRV and A records are created as detailed in the deployment guides so that internal users can create Live Meetings which allow anonymous external users to connect and then share video.
