MS CRM 2011 could only access by IP address. RRS feed

  • I have a MS CRM 2011 installed, and worked fine before (around) Nov. We could access it by either IP address or server.

    But, recently, we could only access it by IP address, and need to input credential (windows2008/IE9). If using server name, it will run for several minutes, and then, show "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".

    And, we still have some IE8/windows xp machine, and from those computers, there is no any problem to access MS CRM by either server name or IP address.

    Any one has similar issue or any point?

  • Thanks. but they don't work.

    Because it worked before, I think it is caused by a update (maybe IE, Windows, etc).

    I'm installing rollup 10. I hope it could fix some problems.

    I would suggest you to also check the setting in Internet Explorer under security section.

    Enable Integrated Windows Authentication

    Hope you get it up and running.

  • You need to add that server name to your system. network(admin) people will do it.

    they willl do edit one file like this, so that you can access by crm2011:5555/mycrm

    crm2011                                192.168.1.145:5555
