Custom membership provider for portal RRS feed

    I am using the adxstudio portal accelerator and I would like to know how I can create a custom membership provider since I am using a custom entity for users to log in instead of the contact entity.

    The portal framework and the customer portals are designed to use a contact as the anchor in CRM for the web user.  Using another entity may be possible, but I know it is not documented, and you are likely going to have to make some significant adjustments to the portal.  Most of the functionality in the portal (ie: profile management, event mangement, case management) will not work because all of those are using contact.  Is there a reason you want to use another entity other than contact?
