What is Live Mesh version 0.9.4014.7 ? RRS feed

    I have had a few attempts at running the latest installer under Win7Pro and yet Live Mesh version 0.9.4014.7 continues to show in my list of installed programs. Other posts tell me that version 0.9.4014.7 is from araound Nov2009 so I am assuming that it is not the new version. Is a version history published anywhere? Do both versions have the same name in the installed programs list?

    I don't currently have Live Mesh beta installed, but that sounds pretty close to the last version.

    Please note that Live Mesh beta will be discontinued on 3/31/11. You can get Windows Live Mesh as part of Windows Live Essentials 2011 - it will not install to XP, though, nor will machines running Live Mesh beta see/sync with machines running Windows Live Mesh.

    You will first need to uninstall the Live Mesh beta, and then go to http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mesh to get the latest version of Windows Live Mesh. Before you do this, note the folders that you're syncing on each computer and if they're shared with anyone. After you download Windows Live Mesh, you can set up these folders to sync again.
