Office 2007 Enterprise Validation Couldn't Complete RRS feed

  • Question

  • I purchased Office 2007 Enterprise via Home Use Program. It arrived yesterday and properly installed on my brand new laptop.

The product says it is activated but won't validate. I get the message that validation could not be completed.

    Here's the report:

The diagnosis above confirms that Office is genuine which I did not doubt, given I bought it directly from Microsoft.
    Please advise. Thank you.

  • Ola-G,

    Try the following below:

    1) Right-click IE7 shortcut icon in the Quick Launch toolbar and select Run as Administrator, or

    2) Click the Vista Start button, type Internet in the Start Search Vista-Search box, right-click Internet Explorer in Program listing and click the Run as Administrator option, or

    3) Locate “Internet Mode: On” in the IE7 status bar (bottom-right of IE7 window) and double-click on it. Unchecked the check-box for “Enable Protected Mode (Requires restarting Internet Explorer)”

Then try to validate Office again here at,  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/WhyValidate.aspx?displaylang=en
