Registering subscription problem

Question
-
I am trying to register my free trial to a full subscription but have a problem with the billing details.
I originally started using Hotmail with my ID in the US, but now live in Japan. On the billing information screen, it will not allow me to change the country for the billing address and therefore I am unable to sign up.
My Live ID is updated to reflect my current location.
How can I sign up from Japan?
Thanks for your assistance.

My recommendation is that you create a new LiveID that does not have a Billing account already associated with it.
Clear out the LiveID from the OneCare activation form per this post - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2776450&SiteID=2
Activate with the new LiveID.
Note that you will need to have your IE language set to Japanese in order to activate a subscription or you will be directed to http://get.live.com

You may have to take out a new Windows Live ID Jeff and then "LINK" them. If so, you should register your new "Linked Windows ID" with your new address.
Online, go to Windows Live ID, Account Summary, and see if you can change your "region" again. But I have a feeling that you may not be able to change it, either because you're still a trial subscriber or because you don't have a new Windows Live ID linked to your original registration. Once you're a paid-subscriber, you can usually change ANY data in your profile.
Update your Windows Live ID profile information -
Need to change your name or e-mail address, or reset your password? You can do all three (and more) at Windows Live Account summary.Elliot
