How can I get the power of signal and noise in 802.11n mode? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want collect the power of signal and noise in 802.11n mode in real time.

    I find a energy_max parameter in the sora sdk 2.0. What does that parameter mean?

    What does the "BB11nDemodCtx.CF_11CCA::cca_pwr_reading() >> 2" mean?

    Can I use that parameter to calculate the power of signal and noise? Thanks!

Answers

  • cca_pwr_reading is the power value detected during carrier sensing.

    energy_max <- 3/4 * energy_max + 1/4 cca_pwr_reading

    So it is a history average considering attenuation.
