I recently did a factory restore on my computer and now I am having a problem! When the automatic updates tries to update ( the little yellow update shield) will not let me see what programs it is updating when I click on it it. I had this problem a while back when I did the last factory restore. The update shield kept trying to install the same service pack but ,it would not install! It was Microsoft service pack 2! I had to end up putting it manually but , I can not remember the full name of the service pack! I don't even know if this is the same problem sense I can not get the update manager to open!
Just encase I confused anyone I am talking about the little yellow shield icon that comes on whenever a update occurs. When you click on it; it is supposed to show you what is being updated.......Well it will not show me what it is updating!
