MOE.exe taking 100% of CPU, 1/2 my RAM!

Question
-
I've been using Mesh for awhile now, and foldershare before that, and haven't had many problems. My recent issue started within the last couple weeks. After about 5 minutes from starting up my laptop, the laptop slows down to a crawl. This is because MOE.exe is taking 50%-100% of my CPU and over 1 Gig RAM, making my computer completely unusable. Does anybody have an idea of how to stop this from happening, other than to stop using Mesh?
Also, Mesh seems to be constantly polling and making sure things are synced, as well as saying that it's syncing when nothing actually needs to be synced. Foldershare never had these issues, but it seems like Mesh has been plagued by this since its inception.
I can provide more specific details if needed.
Thanks!

Are you referring to Live Mesh beta - www.mesh.com or Windows Live Mesh, part of Windows Live Essentials 2011?
If the latter, for discussion of the new Windows Live Mesh (formerly Sync), (as well as the released Live Sync version) go here:
http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?productid=24
If the former, be aware that Live Mesh beta will cease to function at the end of March, 2011. It is no longer supported. If you are using Live Mesh beta on XP, you'll need to seek an alternative solution. if you are running Vista or Windows 7, remove Live Mesh beta and install Windows Live Mesh from http://get.live.com

Thanks Steve, I'm referring to the non-Beta. This has probably been discussed before, but this forum should clearly be marked the "beta forum". This is the first hit in google, plus there's nothing I've found on this site that actually denotes it as the beta. Certainly not the

But thanks anyways.

Actually, there are two possible directions for this forum - closing it completely at the end of March or marking it read only.Or, migrating Windows Live Mesh to this forum platform, possibly at answers.microsoft.com
Yes, it is terribly confusing. I'm glad that the Live Mesh name lives on, but for the time being the two disparate forums make things pretty confusing since the programs are so similarly named. Microsoft has a habit of this naming behavior, though. :-)

Oh, and actually, at the very top of the forum, above the list of discussions, is the announcements section that does point to the other forum for Windows Live Mesh.
