Nortel CS1000 and OCS 2007 RRS feed

  • Question

  •

We have installe CS1K release 5.0 with OCS. RCC and Voice Enterprise outgoing is workin.

If we call the Telephone we didn't get the popup to accept the coll from the OCS Client.

Our Settings for the Client are:

    Server-URI: sip :1140;phone-context=cdp.udp@damproxy.da.grp

    Tel-URI:tel: +492118755;ext=1140

I thing we have problems with the normalisation rules. Is it possible to debug direct on the client.

In the OCS Trace looks everything go.

    Anny sugestion?

  • Maybe this will help you, it's from this site: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/office/bb735838.aspx#ippbx1

*** If you are deploying Dual Forking, you must also install the following updates for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007:

  • Hi,

Jan is correct. You need the updates mentioned above.

Does outgoing calls work fine? Note that since the call is coming to the phone, the Nortel system is forking the call. The incoming number needs to be matched to the users tleephone number from AD.

Check if the number that comes into the OCS server, that it matches the expected telephone number of the user?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    I have same issue.

All works fine and I also have the pop up from OC client when I receive call , but if I answer using MOC (with prefered calling device set to computer) tha call start on the desktop phone. On the pop up I can't see the option to answer with phone.

    The outbound call works fine.

Checking Advanced Phone Integration Configuration, I have automatic configuration , i can't switch to manual configuration and i can't see uri fields.

    Thanks

  • Have you configured your DSC HOT P Key / PCA?  This is configured on the CS1000 and points to the NRS that points to your MCM/OCS proxy.  Then AD is queried and the MOC and Nortel Phone rigns at the same time.

By the way Nortel stopped support on OCS on new installs on release 5.0.  Due to all of the conflicting Nortel patches.

If you have any further questions let me know.

I also found that you dont need to specify the MCM proxy in this field.

    Server-URI: sip :1140;phone-context=cdp.udp@damproxy.da.grp

Nortel typo.  If the name of your proxy is damproxy  remove it so that it looks like Server-URI: sip :1140;phone-context=cdp.udp@da.grp
