  • Hi

You can expect them about3 to 6 months once the exam goes live which is expected at the end of June sometime. This is the normal amount of time for these books based on previous exam development cycles.

  • Thanks Niall, I guess I will wait a little to apply the exams then. It doesn't make too much sense to me do the VS 2008 exams if the VS 2010 will be available soon, as long as VS 2010 covers all VS 2008 stuff.

  • VS 2008 still might be relevant. I do not think companies will start using VS2010 tomorrow. Most of them will ask for VS 2008 for quite some time.

It is me, answering my own thoughts : )

Still considering going for VS2008 while waiting for VS2010 books.

    Any other ideas?

  • I get your point, however, spending time and money in books/training and exams with VS 2008 seems a waste if you intend to get VS 2010. Why not wait a little longer and get the one that includes the previous. For me it's like buying a car just a few months before it gets a facelift.

But I agree with you, the relevance of VS 2008 certs will remain for a good while. Just my thoughts.
