    Your XP installation may have a corrupted or otherwise damaged essential file, winlogon.exe, as indicated by this line in the above report:

    File Scan Data-->
    File Mismatch: C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe

     

    Please follow the steps in this MS KB article to run the System File Checker which may be able to repair the file:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310747

     

    If no success, please follow the steps in this MS KB article to replace the mismatched file winlogon.exe with a genuine file from your XP CD:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888017/en-us

     

    Once you have addressed the mismatched/corrupted file issue, you should be able to activate automatically over the internet.
