    Someone has accessed my e-mail account and changed my password and alternate e-mail address how can I retrieve this information? It is vital as I have files form work in it that were lost due to hardware crash. Someone please help me.

    You can reset your password at http://account.live.com assuming you have set up an alternate email address and/or set up the secret questions for your account.

    If this does not work, contact Hotmail support - http://support.live.com, select Windows Live Hotmail from the list. To recover an account, they will request a pretty significant amount of information from you to prove that it is indeed your account.

    Thank you for your help, I had no ideal how to straighten this out.  I have done as you have instructed and am waiting for response.  Awesome that you got back to me so fast, agian thank you, your are a gentlemen in this day and age.
