Left folder is 20 GB and on external USB drive, and I wanted to make sure my right folder on another USB drive is up to date.
I set up ECHO. First thing is that there were files on the right folder that did not exist on the left folder, yet ST did not remove these. I guess one needs to do one initial SYNC operation before things work? But this makes no sense. If I do SYNC, then
I will get the old files from the right folder back to the left folder.
I simply wanted the right folder to be the same as the left folder after the ECHO.
second issue. It took 10 hrs to do the preview. Its now been running for 8 hrs to do the RUN itself and not finished.
I have 800 GB disk I wanted to echo. This means I have to wait 3 months or so to be done.
Is this software a joke or Am I missing something here? Why does MS want to waste people time by making such a buggy software?
