HDView output more contrasted than HDView SL RRS feed

  • Question

  • I noticed that when I generate a page/tileset using the HDView SL option, the color is the same as the original image, but when using the HDView only option, the image is a lot more contrasted, even when using the flat curve setting in the viewer.

Is there a way to prevent HDView from adding so much contrast to the Image?

    thanks

     EDIT:

I tested the same HDView page on different machine, and I get different result. On my desktop with W7 64bit and an Nvidia 460GTX, I get this very contrasty image. On a laptop with Intel 945 integrated graphics, the image is normal. On an older laptop with a radeon mobility M3 graphics, the imae is normal, but when I move around I get a milky overlay on the image.

It looks like HDView has issues depending on the graphic card being used which would make it very unreliable.

    Is this a known problem?

    thanks
