Windows 7 "Windows validation was interrupted" and Microsoft Help and Support site gives errors

Question
-
Hi,
I have a genuine Window 7 Pro (x32) system upgraded from Vista Ultimate. I have activated the product.
Now the MS Online Validation is reporting that "Windows validation was interrupted."
I have run Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool. This gives an error message when I hit "Copy" (Error = "Failed to create output files, hr=0x800706ba. Please contact support". The "Resolve" buttin is not active.
When I try use support.microsoft.com to ask for help the website does not detect or recognise my O/S Product ID and generates an error message "The product ID provided could not be processed because of a system or network error. Please try again in a few minutes."
So I am completely stuck.

I understand. I thought the error related to the Copy function. Here is the output from the tool.

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the WAT Update (KB971033), then trying to re-validate at www.microsoft.com/genuine/validateI can see no problems in the report apart from the fact that the machine hasn't been validated (although there's a good chance that your installation of Office is non-genuine, unless you acquired it through your employers)

In order to analyze and troubleshoot your issue, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool. Then click on the Continue button, the Copy button, and then paste in this thread. Thank you!

IGNORE the error message - it simply means that the tool cannot save the ..cab file results to the hard disk - it does not usually affect the copy/paste function.

Paste the MGADiag report into your reply (Ctrl-V). The error refers to writing a file to disk, not copying and pasting to a doc.
