  • I recently had to uninstall OneCare to successfully download print drivers -something about the firewall.  While we can probably discuss whether that was necessary or not, that's what I did.  After successfully downloading the drivers I tried to re-install OneCare, but was told that my subscription had expired.  I had bought OneCare sometime ago but only last week got around to installing it.  When I did, I was told that my subscription was good until Nov 2008. 


    Can someone please tell me how to reinstall OneCare and reactivitate my OneCare subscription, which is good for a 3 computer user group.  I need to reinstall on all 3 computers.

  • If your initial activation, which created your subscription, was performed in November, your subscription should indeed be good through November of 2008. Confirm this by signing in at http://billing.microsoft.com


    When you attempt activation following the reinstall, make sure that you are using the correct LiveID - the same one you used to originally activate and confirmed by going to the Billing site above.


    If both are correct, double check the computer date and time. If it is a future date, it may see your subscription as expired.
