I have a problem with WM6 on my HTC Touch (with Orange). Having set up a wifi profile and entered my 128 bit WEP key and successfully connected at home, I get in the car and as I drive along, it attempts to pick up other secured networks unsuccessfully. When I get back home and it detects my network, it's lost the profile. This happens every time I set up the profile. So now I store my WEP key in a text file and cut and paste it back into the profile and I'm up and running again in a couple of minutes. How secure is that?
I'd like to hear from Microsoft why they can't make these profiles persistent.
