Remove From My Forums

Please help!! Can't uninstall windows xp home edition.

I recently tried to update my computer to Windows XP Home Edition from Windows 2000. Instead of updating it, I installed as a separate OS on accident. Now I can't uninstall it. When I go to add/remove programs in XP there is nothing listed, so I tried uninstalling it in safe mode command prompt. It had an error that said Windows XP was not registered properly and can't be uninstalled. What do I do next?
